The Festival
Liphook Village Hall and Bramshott & Liphook Social Club have teamed up to bring this exciting new event for your calendar.
With a host of sponsors we have been able to organise a free event for everyone in Liphook.
We hope that you can all come along and enjoy a day to remember.
If you can help in any way, please do get in touch.
Below is everything you need to know on the day!
-
How much is it to come to the Liphook Music, Beer and Food Festival? This is a community event and is completely free to everyone, thanks to our very generous donating sponsors. This event has only been possible because of them!
-
Are children allowed?Of course they are, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For the duration of a Festival all teachers/parents/guardians/carers are responsible for the continuous care and supervision of their own children/pupils. Anyone under the age of 18 caught trying to drink alcohol will be immediately removed from the venue, likewise if they try to buy any. Age verification will be strictly enforced. We are a licensed premise and we would like to keep it that way ;)
-
Are dogs allowed?Dogs are allowed, however they MUST be kept on a lead at all times and you MUST pick up after your dog! Marshalls will be keeping a keen eye on anyone that breaks this condition and you will be told to leave the event. Be mindful that there will be loud music, so it might be best to keep further back if you have a dog with you.
-
Will there be parking on the day?Unfortunately there will be no parking available at the Village Hall & Social Club, as the event is being hosted in our car park. There are other alternative places to park in and around Liphook. As there's Beer and Drinking involved, why would you need the car? ;)
-
How can I pay for my drink and/or food at the Festival?Cash or card can be used at the inside (Social Club) bar and at the outside Bar and Ale tent you will need to purchase tokens/tickets and redeem these on ordering. Some of the food vendors may only accept card, so please be aware of this. This is unfortunately out of our control.
-
Will there be Non-Alcohol drinks available?Yes, we will have Guiness Zero cans, Lucky Saint on Tap, Thatchers Zero, Zero Gin, Zero Rum and Zero Prosecco
-
Can I bring my own food and drink? No, we have everything you need onsite and a lot of effort has gone into this event, so please only buy your drinks and food from the vendors on the day.
-
Will there be seating? There will not be any seating, if you need to be seated then by all means, bring a chair along with you. You could bring picnic blankets with you, but these may be uncomfortable on the tarmac ground of our car park.
-
Will there be any cover if it rains? As always, in the UK we can never predict the weather, so our generous fiends at One Six Events will gauge the weather nearer the time and provide a marquee if we think it will be needed for the day. It would however be a good idea to bring a rain jacket to wear should we get caught out, you can never be too sure in this country!
-
Can I leave and Re-Enter the festival? You can, but please be mindful that the event could hit capacity and you might not be allowed back in because of this. As this is our first festival and a non-ticket event, we cant possibly know if it will hit capacity levels on the day.
-
Can I take beer or cider away from the Festival? You can take it away with you, but only in plastic glasses.
-
Can I be of any help on the day?You most certainly can, the more help we have the better and safer the event will be, so we would welcome any assistance you can spare. Please do get in touch with us using the contacts on this website.
-
Can I provide a food stall for the event? You certainly can, we still have available spaces and there is NO PITCH FEE on the day, so what you make you keep! Please get in touch with us.
-
I'm an entertainer/face painter/glitter tattooist, can I come down?Absolutely, the more the merrier! Just get in contact with us and we will let you know all the information for the day.
